Samaritan's Purse

Remembrance Assembly
yr5 presented a remembrance assembly to remember the soldiers died in the wars. Toluwanimi our class member was a great pianist. Everybody learnt their lines really well and was great success! Ellen, Whoopy and Ayesha recited a very famous poem called Flanders Fields. They said their poem very well. Also David another member of our class brought five medals which was owned by his great grand- father.

Mrs Barnes organized the Samaritan's Purse so we could make shoe boxes for children who do not own anything. We made more than 170 boxes! The people who had to get the boxes needed our help so we had to pass the boxes like pass the parcel to the van! We passed the boxes to the person next to us and they had to pass to the person next to them. Mrs Morgan helped us.

Children In Need
Ellen and Elliana ( 5B) did some competitions for Children in Need. They did two competitions, the first competition was to name a bear and Caitlin( 5B) won that competition and the prize was the bear. The second competition was Guess the Bears Birthday which was the 22nd April and Harry (5G) won that competition. He also won the bear. Ellen and Elliana did really well and raised more than £27.
