In 5B this week we have been learning lots. We have been reading lots of poetry,The Highwayman, The jabbbawocky and the Owl and the pussycat. The Owl and the Pussycat and the Jabbawocky are both nonsense poems. The Highwayman is a romantic poem, it tells a story about a girl called Bess and a Highwayman who are in love. 5B have loved all the poems and have been inspired by them.

Today the whole school are dressed in green to raise money for our school garden. We had to bring in one pound if we wanted to dress in green. 5B are excited about the new garden that everyone has helped to make.

In 5B we have had lots of fun climbing the operators and doing roly polies on the mats. We all loved climbing and jumping off the stands and walking along the wooden plank.

5B say thank you to Mrs Barnes (our great teacher) for teaching us interesting things all week.
